Perfectly placed on top of the cliffs of Hermanus overlooking the majestic Bay, The Marine Hermanus commands stunning views of the Indian Ocean. The simple understated elegance of the hotel inspires its guests to settle back and watch the thunderous surf with a glass of the best South African wine from the hotel’s own wine cellar.

ACCOMMODATION
The Marine consists of 43 individually decorated bedrooms and suites, each with its own spectacular view of the bay.With emphasis on the classic Georgian style, the eight Premier Suites and six Regular Suites have their own large bay windows through which to watch out for whales (June to November), whilst surrounded by opulent floral decor and heavy silks.

FACILITIES
The Pavilion Restaurant offers a relaxed, informal atmosphere in which to enjoy cuisine with hints of the Mediterranean and the East. Guests can also enjoy the Carchele Beauty Spa with its extensive list of beauty treatments or relax in a choice of either the heated salt water pool or the tidal pool, where you can swim within 100 meters of the whales.
